On 12th of  September a consultation on cycling policy until 2030  took place. The City Development Strategy largely consider development of cycling  paths, and for this reason we also want to ensure that a new cycling policy will   make it easier for residents to get around with their two-wheelers
Żywiec City residents  who are interested in cycling attended in this meeting. They were divided into 2 working groups. Their task was to exchange their insights.
Participants included bicycle enthusiasts, both those interested in extreme riding and those who prefer leisurely bicycle tours. The meeting covered topics such as.
- cycling transport in the city,
- cycling infrastructure,
- safety.
We plan to extend cycling paths beyond the borders of Żywiec City in the future, so we’ve opened a dialogue in this topic with representatives of neighbouring municipalities.
